Slate mulch aggregates are used to control vegetation and to control erosion. It has the advantage of being permanent unlike the mulch of traditional wood who is composting. It can be applied directly on the soil or on a geotextile membrane.

The crushed 0-1/4 “and 0-3/4”” are used as a final layer on the road and path. The major advantages are a beautiful steel gray color, good compaction  and erosion control.
